THE CATHEDRAL OF MALAGA
The full name is Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación although it is also popularly known as “La Manquita” due to the lack of one of its towers. The imposing Cathedral of Malaga is today one of the emblems of the city and much loved by the people of Malaga.
THE ALCAZABA OF MALAGA
This fortress palace from the Muslim period is one of the most visited historical monuments of the city. It is one of the most important Muslim works preserved in Spain. At the foot of the Alcazaba we find the Roman Theater, of which pieces were reused for the construction of the Alcazaba.
THE CASTLE OF GIBRALFARO
It is one of the most visited monuments of Malaga. It is currently possible to visit and walk over its walls or visit its Interpretation Center. From the castle you can enjoy privileged views of the entire city, the port and the mountain range “Los Montes”.
