Departure and Return
Meeting point: from Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella. This will be indicated a few days in advance so all excursionists may choose the option most convenient to them.
Departure time: 6.55am Málaga, 7.30am Torremolinos, 8.30am Fuengirola and 9.00am Marbella.
Departure Date: Every Tuesday and Saturday. Thusday departures only from Malaga centre.
Return time: about 6pm in Malaga.
The tour will start in the direction of Setenil de las Bodegas, this Anadalusian town has become famous for its picturesque urban structure and it is declared Historic Site. Once that you get to Setenil you will enjoy free time in the town.
After Setenil you will continue the tour to Ronda. Upon your arrival you will enjoy a full sightseeing tour that includes the Puerta de Almocábar, El Espíritu Santo Church, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación Church, known today as Santa María la Mayor Church.
You will continue with a full tour of the Maestranza Bullring, which is one of the oldest in Spain and considered the birthplace of traditional bullfighting. It is also famous for its traditional ‘Goyesca’ bullfights. The clothing worn by the matadors and spectators will take you back in time to the era of the famous painter, Goya. Furthermore, inside you can visit the notable bullfighting museum.
Later, you will visit La Sangre de Ronda Winery, with a wine tasting included. This wine museum explores the historical and cultural impact wine has had on this region.
Lunch (optional) and free time will follow so you can discover this fascinating city on your own before returning to the Costa del Sol.
On the way back, you will stop briefly (for around 45 minutes) in the centre of Marbella for a walk and the chance to take photos.
